ABOUT OUR MARKAZ

Markaz as-Sabiqin is a non-profit learning centre which focus mainly to promote and nurture the correct Islamic teachings based on the Qur’an & Authentic Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-us-Saalih (Righteous Predecessors) to the Muslim community. 

What's the meaning behind the markaz given name? Sabiqoon are righteous people that not only do a lot of hasanat (Good deeds) to get closer and closer to Allah but when they see someone doing more, earning more, getting even closer to our Allah they become very competitive and they race to outdo others so to become the one closest possible to Allah. Thus As-saabiqoon.
